Secrets of Lanka in 13 days /12 nights
Day 1- Airport to Kandy
In the first day of the tour, you will be picked up from the airport and it is expected to leave to Kandy. On the way you will be taken to the Pinnawala elephant orphanage.
Day 2-Kandy
The second day starts with visiting western shrines which is nearly 700 years old. Later, you will be accompanied to visit Gadaladeniya Rock Temple, Lankathilake Blue Temple and Embekke Wooden Temple while taking trough beautiful scenery.
Day 3-Kandy to Knuckles
The third day starts leaving to Knuckles Mountain range after breakfast. The Knuckles Range consists of the Knuckles massif, the Knuckles range and the Knuckles peaks. There are 35 peaks rising to more than 3000 feet (915 m) in the Knuckles range. You will get the opportunity to stay at a mountain cottage in a remote village overnight.
Day 4-Knuckles
The fourth day starts with the trek from corbett’s gap to meemure, yakagala (Devil’s rock), Nitre cave in Knuckle’s mountain range. This is going to take 8-9 hours. You can relax the rest of the day.
Day 5-Knuckles to Mahiyanganaya
The fifth day starts with leaving to Mahiyanganaya. You will passnprecipitous 18 hairpin bends and beautifully terraced paddy fields of Minipe on your way. The Knuckles Range consists of the Knuckles massif, the Knuckles range and the Knuckles peaks. There are 35 peaks rising to more than 3000 feet (915 m) in the Knuckles range. In the evening you will be taken to Mahiyanganaya dagaba which is one of the most classic Buddhist shrines in Sri Lanka.
Day 6-Mahiyanganaya to ella via Badulla
The sixth day starts with leaving to Ella through Badulla. On the way, you can watch many sceneries of remote countryside such as beautiful paddy fields, lakes, reservoirs and mountains.
Day 7-ella
The seventh day starts with exploring Ella. The morning you will be taken on a hike to Ella rock. After the lunch, you can visit famous 9 arch bridge.
Day 8-ella to deniyaya via udawalawa
The eighth day starts with leaving to Udawalawe. There you can go on a jeep safari and it will take you up to Deniyaya. You will stay overnight in Deniyaya.
Day 9-deniyaya to bentota via sinharaja
The nineth day srats with early morning walk through the forest of Sinharaja. Then you will be taken to Bentota for a overnight stay.
Day 10- Bentota
The 10th day will be full of adventures in the Bentota beach. You can rest the whole day.
.Day 11-bentota to colombo via galle
The 11th day will begin leaving to Colombo. On the way you can visit Galle Fort. You will stay overnight in Colombo.
Day 12-colombo to kitulgala back to colombo
The 12th day you are expected to leave to Kitulgala where it will be full of water rafting and waterfall climbing. Then you will be returning to Colombo on the same day in the evening.
Day 13-colombo to airport
The last day of the tour. You will be accompanied to the airport as per the scheduled flight time.
